Remission with plaquenil Plaquenil makes my body ache

It helped my rash but not my other symptoms. It wasn’t worth continuing it for me because of the awful side effects I got from Plaquenil. My doctor gave me the option of sometime called Quinacrine which is supposed to do the same thing but I might tolerate it better. I didn’t try it though as I started feeling better at the time. On plaquenil always made me feel very bad. hate it. before my diagnosis I was tired, aneamic, stiff etc since the plaquenil I jus flare all the time. it was so bad I just came off it for several months. got so ill they wanted me to go on chemo based drugs but I did not want that either. so reluctantly went back on the plaquenil. imo its made me worse. Also read that allergic reactions can get even worse when triggered again, so I won't be trying anymore. I'm glad you're at least feeling better than you were before. Personally, even when my joint pains were at their worst I kind of preferred them than the fatigue I currently feel.

  4. Hello all, My wife had Lupus and was taking Plaquenil 200mg daily. I hesitated posting this because, unfortunately, I don’t have a happy ending. But I think everyone taking Plaquenil needs to know the risks. My wife passed away in July from Hydroxychloroquine Plaquenil Intoxication. Apparently this is very rare like 5 people in the world.

Nov 12, 2009 Plaquenil is a 6-weeker as far as the benefits are concerned, but it would be more dangerous to stop if you spend a lot of time outside and if this were the summer. If you're gonna experiment, I went off it cold turkey as it didn't hurt to do it that way, but you better get back on before the summer or you could experience a flare-up. I'm not currently on Plaquenil because my levels are very mild but I asked my rheumatologist who's been practicing 30 years about the whole blindness thing in case I ever needed to go on it and he said I'd have a better shot of getting hit by lightning and he's never seen it happen to any of his patients over the years.

Is death by amitriptyline overdose painful with anti. Amitryptiline is very commonly used as a way to commit suicide and the reason is that it’s so popular is that you don’t feel any pain. I wouldn’t recommend it though, not at all. Notwithstanding the BS about how catheters are made from glass, there is a much more disturbing thing that will happen.
